Effective December 19, 2012, the Colorado Supreme Court, the Colorado Court of Appeals, and the Colorado Supreme Court Library will be located in the new Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center.

The Supreme Court and Court of Appeals Clerk’s Office stopped checking out records on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. and will not accept records for return or filing until Friday, December 21, 2012. Any records with a current due date during this period have been given an automatic extension of time until December 21st.
In anticipation of the move, the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals will close at noon on Friday, December 14, 2012, and will reopen to the public in the new Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center at 2 East 14th Ave., Denver, CO 80203, at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2012.
Any pleadings that are currently due on December 17th and 18th are automatically extended to December 19th.
There will be a window open to accept emergency pleadings only at the Denver Newspaper Agency Building on December 17th and 18th. The location of the Denver Newspaper Agency Building is 101 West Colfax Ave., Ste. 800, Denver, CO 80202. The window will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Supreme Court Library is currently closed to the public and will reopen in our new location on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 8:00 a.m.
