Grand Opening of the Phillip S. Miller Park

The Grand Opening of the new Philip S. Miller regional, legacy park is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2014.  The park is located at 1375 W. Plum Creek Parkway, Castle Rock, Colorado and consists of more than 250 acres of trails, the new Miller Activity Conference Center (“MAC”) and other sports fields.  Ernie Fazekas and Aaron Barrick, of the law firm of Folkestad Fazekas Barrick & Patoile, P.C., are members of the Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation (the “Foundation”).  The Foundation has been instrumental in bringing attention to this project and expanding the amenities at the park.  The focus of the Foundation is to expand the trails and parks throughout Castle Rock thereby enhancing the quality of life for citizens of our great town.  The celebration will include a 10K/5K trail run, free lunch, Halloween Spooktacular, a scavenger hunt and guided tours of the new trails system and MAC.
