On June 7, 2011, the law firm of Folkestad Fazekas Barrick & Patoile, P.C. hosted the Castle Rock Business Roundtable at its offices.

The Roundtable was initiated by State Senator Mark Scheffel (R), representative for Senate District 4, which encompasses Southern Douglas County, Northern El Paso County, Teller County, Park County and Lake County. The special guest was Governor John Hickenlooper who addressed 25 prominent senior business leaders from Castle Rock in the conference room of the law firm. Governor Hickenlooper and Senate Scheffel preferred an intimate environment where they could address and answer questions regarding economic recovery and growth in the state, and to explore ways to further stimulate Colorado’s economy. The bipartisan group concurred that economic recovery is best achieved by empowering the private sector. The law firm of Folkestad Fazekas Barrick & Patoile was recognized for its support of the community.
