Folkestad Fazekas Barrick & Patoile, P.C. is excited to welcome Joe D. Kinlaw II as an associate attorney. Mr. Kinlaw practices in the areas of Real Estate, Landlord/Tenant Law, General Business Law (including formation, administration and litigation), Probate Law, Trust and Estate Administration, Estate Planning, and Land Use Law (including easements, zoning, and code enforcement).
Mr. Kinlaw was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 2013. After graduating law school, Mr. Kinlaw served as a law clerk for a District Court Judge in the El Paso County District Court. Prior to joining Folkestad Fazekas Barrick & Patoile, P.C., Mr. Kinlaw was employed with a mid-size general business law firm in Colorado Springs where he was exposed to a wide variety of business, probate and real estate matters.
Mr. Kinlaw graduated magna cum laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. While attending law school, Mr. Kinlaw was elected to the prestigious position of Editor-in-Chief of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review. Mr. Kinlaw received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado.
Mr. Kinalw is a resident of Castle Rock and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
