FFBP Sponsors Women of Influence

On February 16, 2012, the law firm of Folkestad Fazekas Barrick and Patoile sponsored the Women of Influence luncheon series at the Union Bistro, in Castle Rock, Colorado.  The keynote speaker was Brigadier General Dana M. Capozzella, the assistant Adjutant General – Army, Colorado National Guard.  Brigadier General Capozzella is responsible for the readiness  training of more than three thousand men and women and their families in the Colorado Army National Guard.  She is the first female to hold the rank of general officer and the first female to command the Army National Guard for the State of Colorado.  She was introduced by Aaron Barrick, the managing partner for the law firm and a Colonel in the Colorado Air National Guard.  Mr. Barrick works with Brigadier General Capozzella as the State Judge Advocate for Colorado with each advising and supporting the Adjutant General and Governor of the State on military and veteran affairs.  The law firm also sponsored the attendance of six female students from Chaparral High School at the event.  More than forty five women of influence from the Castle Rock community were in attendance including Gina M. Masterson; a transaction attorney in the law firm.
