We are delighted to announce the addition of Renee to our esteemed team of legal professionals. With dual licensure in North Carolina and Colorado, Renee brings a wealth of experience and a robust background in family law, juvenile and criminal defense, child advocacy, and veterans’ rights.
Renee’s legal career is distinguished by her previous role as a Guardian ad Litem with Child Advocates of Colorado, where she was committed to safeguarding the interests of children in complex dependency, neglect, and juvenile delinquency cases. Her formative experiences at the University of Denver further enhanced her expertise, including pivotal internships with the Rocky Mountain Veterans Advocacy Project and the Office of the Child’s Representative. In her capacity as a Student Attorney at the Colorado Juvenile Defender Center and through her involvement with the Veterans Advocacy Project, Renee provided exceptional advocacy for both veterans and vulnerable youth.
Before embarking on her legal journey, Renee served with honor in the United States Air Force as a Multi-disciplined Korean Language Analyst and Cryptologic Language Analyst. Her service, which included a Top Secret Clearance, encompassed critical assignments at the National Security Agency in Maryland and Hawaii, as well as a two-year tour in the Republic of Korea. Her dedication to public service is further evidenced by her volunteer work as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in both Hawaii and Denver, where she championed the rights of abused and neglected children within the foster care system.
In addition to her legal practice, Renee holds accreditation from the Department of Veterans Affairs, positioning her to effectively advocate for veterans’ benefits and compensation. Her extensive experience also includes handling divorce cases for military service members, reflecting her nuanced understanding of the unique legal challenges faced by those in the armed forces.
Renee is renowned for her exceptional dedication to client advocacy, her unwavering work ethic, and her commitment to lifelong learning and professional development. We are proud to welcome Renee to our firm and look forward to her continued contributions to our practice and our clients.
