On Wednesday, December 14, 2011, Aaron Barrick, the managing director of FOLKESTAD FAZEKAS BARRICK & PATOILE, P.C., was featured on the radio program “Walking A Walk” on MileHiRadio.com.

“Walking A Walk” is a talk radio show hosted by Lorin and Dixie Ricker, dedicated and devoted to U.S. Military Service men and women, Reservists, National Guard, Veterans, EMT/First Responders, their families and the great people in the organizations who support them.  Each week, the hosts talk with service members about their service, experiences and the pride in serving their country.  Colonel Barrick is also a Reservist in the Colorado National Guard serving as a senior legal advisor and general counsel to the Adjutant General, Maj. Gen. Michael Edwards.  In this capacity, he oversees all legal personnel in the state militia and is responsible for all matters of State and Federal Law impacting the Colorado National Guard and its more than 4,500 military members and their families.  Recently, the law firm was awarded the prestigious ESGR Patriot Award, an important national award from Employers Support of the Guard and Reserves.  Colonel Barrick answered questions regarding his experience in the military contrasting the military justice system with the civil penal system, comparing the operations of private practice with a military legal office and describing his duties in preparing service members for deployment and protecting them upon their return.  Colonel Barrick has been invited to return to the station to address other matters affecting our military service men and women.
